The breakfast was the highlight of my visit to Tuxtepec, with at least 15 homemade dishes. There were fruits, vegetables, and meats in different combinations, plus soups, rice and bean dishes, stews, comida típica, fresh fruit, and cereals. The hotel feels like a lovely oasis in the otherwise dirty, congested city center. If you need to stay right in town, you’d have a hard time finding a better option. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the appliances modern and working. If you can stay outside the city, though, do that.
