The apartment was well equipped, and we were really happy with it. The view is stunning, and the staff are wonderfully friendly. Puerto Angel isn't the most touristy place, with fewer things to explore, but it has lovely people and a sweet vibe. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly, and the shared spaces are roomy, with hammocks and a great view. The kitchen was well equipped, even though that wasn't advertised.

Puerto Angel has a sleepy, laid-back feel compared with Zipolite and Mazunte up the coast. It's a little scruffy, though the beaches are OK. The top, or “penthouse,” room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, fridge, and a nice balcony with a comfortable hammock. The views over town and the sea were great. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast, despite what our guidebook and other reviews said, and no restaurant for lunch or dinner. You can use the kitchen, and the common areas are attractive.

The penthouse room has a lovely breeze, and both the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. We were only there for one night, but it was a magnificent stay. Bastian and Karyna were excellent hosts. If we return to Puerto Angel, we'll stay here again. Highly recommend.

Arriving after dark meant we didn't see how lovely Gundi y Tomas was until morning. Then we were greeted by an ocean view and a pretty courtyard full of flowers. Such a nice surprise, especially at a great price!
