Casa Borka LUXURY FULLY FURNISHED BEACH CONDOS WITH POOL

We spent three weeks traveling around Mexico as a group of seven, and this was easily our favorite place. The shared rooftop terrace was a highlight, and the accommodation was incredible. It had the privacy of an Airbnb with hotel-level service. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars in about five minutes, yet the place stays peaceful and quiet. It really made our trip, and I'd love to come back. If it's available, don't hesitate to book.

The streets are rough to walk along 😅, but the beach is only about a 7-minute walk away. Lovely apartments, spotless and beautiful, with great service from lovely staff.

Casa Borka had the cozy-chic feel we wanted, and the rooms were perfect, with lots of space. Isabella was a wonderful host, always helpful and full of good breakfast suggestions. We also found the beach access perfect for us. We had an amazing stay.

We left to find a better and cheaper place, relying on Booking.com's cancellation policy. In the end, we only had to pay the one-night cancellation penalty stated in Booking.com's policy, even though Casa Borka kept trying to charge us the full amount. If we'd left it in her hands, we'd have been stuck in a very uncomfortable situation. Isabella's trickery didn't work. WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE! We'd booked online through Booking.com, but accidentally selected 1 BR instead of the 2BR our group needed. When we arrived, we asked Isabella, the host, about changing or canceling. She said that because we'd already checked in, no changes were possible and canceling would mean paying the full week. But Booking.com's cancellation policy said we had until midnight that night to cancel with a charge of one night's stay. When I pointed this out, Isabella became VERY rude and said she "didn't care what Booking.com said, because it was up to their property's policy." That was patently incorrect. She then said she'd ask Casa Borka's 'administration' for an exception the next day, but it would be Sunday and she couldn't guarantee a response. That was deceitful, since waiting would make us miss Booking.com's cancellation deadline and trigger the full payment. EDIT: Their reply has a much nicer tone, but is still incorrect and unapologetic. Again, we followed Booking.com's WRITTEN cancellation policy, and they tried to convince us otherwise.
