Paziflora Hostel

The hostel is really clean, cosy, well kept, and good value. The friendly owners made it easy to feel welcome, and there were lovely travellers, families, and people staying long term. It's between Centro and Rinconada, handy for those areas and the beaches on this side, but a long way from Zicatela and La Punta, so not a great fit if you want the party spots. It's not a party hostel, but I met nice people my age, 30+, and everyone was friendly. The shared spaces are roomy, and there's a pool, free water, and an exercise mat you can borrow. I also loved the garden and its mango tree, with free mangoes every day. The stable bunks in the women's dorm were great, and they even gave me the bottom bunk when I asked. One downside: the rooms get cold at night with the air conditioning on. Everyone in my room was cold, so some blankets would help.

The hosts were very welcoming, and there's a little pool for chilling out. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning in the rooms. It's close to the ADO station, which is handy, and about a 10-minute walk to one of the beaches. The walk back involves a lot of climbing.

I came for three days and stayed six weeks, and I'll definitely be back. As a digital nomad, Paziflora is in my top three, and the best place I've stayed in Mexico. Louisa, David, Koti, Sebastian, Emilio and the girls make this beautiful hostel feel like home. There's a friendly mix of backpackers, families, and long-term guests, always up for a chat and a laugh. The beds are good, everything is VERY clean, and there's a lovely open kitchen, a pool, and a shared space with a self-service mango tree. Gracias!

The beautiful grounds are quiet and clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. It's close to both the bus station and beach. There's also a wholesale paletta place right across the street ;) I'd definitely stay again!
