Casa Kai feels like a roomy, beautifully designed refuge tucked into the middle of lively La Punta in Puerto Escondido. The management team made the stay personal and was helpful both at the property and around the community. The accommodations were top-notch. If you want to learn to surf or explore what the area has to offer, it’s a great base.

We liked Casa Kai enough to add another night to our stay. Laura, our host, was really friendly, and the pool and shared areas gave us another place to cool off and relax besides the beach. It’s a short walk to the main strip in La Punta, with two nearby shops for things like water. The rooms had a chic boho look. Bring an extra towel if you want one for the pool, since the hotel doesn’t provide pool towels, though you can use your beach towel. The shower water wasn’t hot, but that’s expected for the area.

The spacious rooms, comfortable amenities, and distinctive decor made our stay memorable. Casa Kâi has a charming atmosphere, a good location, and friendly staff. We can’t wait to return to Puerto Escondido.
