The one small inconvenience was the lack of hairdryers in the rooms. There was one at reception for everyone to share, which was a bit awkward, but no big deal. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay at Casa Marisa in Puerto Escondido and felt comfortable the whole time. The owner replied right away to our messages, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The property was clean, organized, and very well maintained. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, and the pool was a great size for relaxing. We'd happily recommend Casa Marisa and stay again!

The location was great for us: we found lovely restaurants nearby and could easily walk to the beach. The staff were around to help, and the rooms were extremely clean. My partner and I stayed here on our first visit to Puerto Escondido, and it was the perfect introduction. We had a very peaceful, relaxing time, with comfortable rooms and outdoor areas, a lovely big pool, and a hammock that was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC worked like a charm. We'll definitely come back!

Birds and roosters take over in the morning, but the party at the stables across from our road-facing room was fine noise-wise. The place itself was really quiet, just five minutes from the highway or main street and less than 10 minutes from the beach. We had a great eight days in this charming Casa Getaway. Around the corner, Lilikoi Luna bakery Cafe had excellent food and friendly service. A block away, Satsanga offered different yoga practices by donation ($200-250), and Bonita Escondida Hostel at the end of the street had morning Pilates ($200). The room was clean, the staff were ready to help anytime, and they arranged our return trip to the airport. My one suggestion would be bedside reading lamps. I had a really happy vacation and would return to this exact place. Thank you, Casa Marina, for the experience.

I really wanted this place to work out because it has a lot of potential, but our stay was disappointing. We were in one of the larger rooms, where the bathroom had no door, with the kitchen area just on the other side of it. The pool area was nice, though the lounge chairs were moldy. On our last night we found a bed bug. Management just shrugged when we told them and didn't even apologize. The customer service was incredibly disappointing.

The room we had was the bigger one with a pool view, and it was really nice. Everything we needed was there, and the service and cleanliness were top notch. The price was very good value for what you get. One of our best stays in Mexico, and we'd definitely recommend staying here.
