We really enjoyed our week and would recommend the hotel to friends. The rooms and beds are big, and the view across the whole bay is the best. There's no loud music, just a few roosters adding to the rustic feel. The rooftop restaurant has a nice bar and great food options. Staff were very accommodating when we had trouble with our luggage.

The pool was nice and the location decent, about 15 minutes from the beach. Staff weren't very friendly, almost as if they were fellow guests. We saw cockroaches, a huge iguana, a scorpion, a tarantula, and loads of smaller insects during our stay. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.

I was looking forward to staying here because of the great uphill location from La Punta. They kindly let me check in early, but the room wasn't as described and I couldn't access the rooftop. There were cockroaches, so I had to leave. They refunded my money. I was surprised by all the good reviews, because my experience didn't match them.
