The neighbors partied late, so bring earplugs. Still, I highly recommend this place. I stopped here on the way to Oaxaca and was glad I did. The staff are charming, the vibe is cool, and the welcome cocktail was among the tastiest I've had. The pool and breakfast were great, too. The room was basic but stylish, with natural decor touches. A quiet little oasis on a small dirt road, just steps from the beach and from a few cute, busy pedestrian streets with restaurants and small shops. The staff were amazing, and the rooms were fresh and clean every day. The Yucanan herbal shower products were lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with a cappuccino or another hot drink included. Other options cost extra. Morning yoga was included, too. We'll be back! Muchisimas Gracias!

We had a terrible stay and wish we'd looked more deeply into the place first. The service was terrible, it's overpriced, and there are much better hotels in better locations. You'll be stuck getting there by expensive taxis. Don't make the same mistake we did. Wishing all travelers a better holiday and stay, from a Dutch couple.

We stayed in the loft and had no internet or TV for two of our three nights. I brought it up on the first night, but maintenance didn't come until later to fix it. We spent those nights sitting in a room with walls, for $600 AUD a night. There was no apology, sympathy, or offer of reimbursement. The room door didn't lock from either inside or outside, leaving us and our belongings vulnerable. Breakfast menu items also cost extra, and there was no welcome drink despite it being advertised. Check-in was at 2pm, and we were told it would be between 2 and 3pm. A scooter we arranged verbally through the hotel for 10am arrived at 11:30am. We paid $22,000 peso ($1800 AUD=$600 per night), and I feel sick thinking about it. It overcharged and underdelivered by far. We thought we were treating ourselves to something special, but the price was embarrassing for what we got. It's a 3 star hotel, and I was wrong to assume expensive meant luxurious and high quality without researching properly. I'd consider $3400 peso per night the maximum acceptable price, not $7300 peso. If you're paying more, expect disappointment.
