La Barra Resorts

The area is still being developed, so having a vehicle is necessary. Even so, it’s a wonderful place with really good service, and I’d happily stay again when I return to puerto Escondido.

We planned on a month at La Barra Resorts, then stayed for four. Every window has a great view, and the big windows bring in loads of natural light. The condos are gorgeous, roomy, and comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent, which I don’t often find. Getting to the restaurants, shops, and activities in La Punta is an easy, fun scooter or ATV ride. The hosts were warm and clearly care about giving guests a high quality stay. We had a real pleasure of a time here and highly recommend La Barra Resorts.

With just six apartments, it’s a wonderfully relaxed place to spend time, and the pool area has lovely loungers and seating. The apartments are huge: the main bedroom has an ocean view, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom. Both bedrooms have comfortable king beds and balconies, and there’s another balcony off the living room. The nearest beach path is at most a ten minute walk, or you can drive there easily. La Punta is close for cafes, shops, and bars. We loved being here and would return whenever we’re in Puerto Escondido.

Everything impressed me, from the quality of the facilities to the little details. I had a great two weeks on my first visit and will definitely come back. Thanks so much.
