Hotel Carruiz

A good affordable hotel, with big rooms and fans. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great.

I looked at about five cheaper hotels in the city center before choosing this one. For 600, I got a room for two with air conditioning, and it worked really well. The room was clean and comfortable, and nearly everything worked, though it felt pretty bare: just beds, a few shelves, and a plastic lawn chair. Some walls were stained. I couldn't connect to the room wifi network, but the lobby network reached my room and worked fine with the same password. The staff were laid-back and kept to themselves, which suited me. Good value for this area.

The room was very clean, and the staff were lovely and accommodating. Wifi worked most of the time, though it did cut out now and then. The location was super convenient for transport, shopping, and restaurants, so we’d recommend it for that. Just keep in mind this is a basic hotel, with nothing fancy. At check-in we got two small, rough bath towels, a roll of toilet paper, two small bars of soap, the TV remote, and, if the room had air conditioning, its remote.

I only used the luggage storage and didn't stay overnight, but I was impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff were. They speak English if you're having trouble, too. Excellent service, and I would definitely stay here in the future.
