We liked the big room and having a private kitchen, and the location and rusty feel that other reviews mention suited us too. Still, after three nights we asked to extend and couldn't, and honestly we were glad. We moved somewhere with much better value. This room didn't look like the photos and felt way overpriced. The fridge was so rusty we could barely use it, it was disgusting. The bathroom didn't match what we paid and needs a complete overhaul. There were ants all over the room, maybe because it was on the ground floor. If the owners want to keep charging this much, they need to clean up the area outside the hotel and put in some lights for guests returning at night. We won't stay there again.

The view from our penthouse was spectacular, and we felt like we were in a little tropical paradise. We were glad to find the rooftop lounge, though we only discovered it later, and its view was just as good. Afternoons in the pool were so refreshing. The studio was just the right size for us, two or three people, and made a great home base for exploring Puerto Escondido. There are no elevators, and getting up three or four flights of stairs is quite a hike. Blanca, the innkeeper, was pleasant and accommodating, and the housekeeper did a wonderful job on most days. 10/10!

A lovely little gem in Puerto Escondido, clean and nicely decorated. The laid-back setting is just a few steps from the beach and restaurants. We loved our room, the pool, and the view from the rooftop terrace.

I spent a month in the ocean-view penthouse, and waking up to the ocean and falling asleep to the waves felt like a dream. The hotel's details are stunning, and the pool and facilities are so welcoming. Incredible experience, highly recommend. The location is perfect, tucked away from the noise while still right at zicatela beach.

From the rooftop you get a breathtaking view over the ocean and the town. The decor is very cute, and the pool and outdoor space are relaxing. It's on a quiet street, just a short walk from the beach, and it's my favourite place to stay in Puerto Escondido.
