The pool is great, and the Starlink WiFi gives you a good connection. Melrose is also within walking distance of the good restaurants and La Punta beach. The rooms with kitchens are spacious and comfortable, with AC and a fan. Bathrooms are basic but have what you need. There's no hot-water heater; the water is warmed by the sun, and it was warm enough for this climate. A comfortable, affordable place to stay.

The pool was a really nice part of the accommodation, and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager Azael, who was super helpful and helped me with everything while I was there.

You get a bed, but not much else. There's nowhere to hang wet or dry clothes, and no hangers either. No one is on site in the evening if a problem comes up. The online photos don't match what the place is actually like.

Melrose had everything I needed for a good stay. My room's kitchenette was useful and had the basics, and the pool surrounded by plants was lovely. The spaces were clean, the location was well-connected, and the staff were always friendly. A few touches to the overall look could give it a boost.
