Hotel El Mirador

The AC and water worked well, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rooms weren’t great, and the blankets were so rough that you should bring your own if you plan to sleep here. The TVs are tiny and don’t work well, and the Wi-Fi is awful with barely any signal. Some staff were kind of rude, though not all of them. It didn’t look the way it appears, either. For a little more money, you could get a much nicer hotel. Don’t waste your time or money.

We loved how helpful and kind the staff were, and they made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean, the bed was really comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the AC worked superbly. We also had a good ocean view and two very large, clean pools. The second-floor pool has just been retiled and looks like new. You do hear some noise now and then, but it stops at bedtime, so it wasn’t a worry for us. The location is superb for walking to the gym, beaches, restaurants, busy shopping and food streets, and Chedraui. For farther beaches, you can catch a taxi right outside or take a collectivo. La Luna, a restaurant associated with the hotel, is just 10 meters away. We ate breakfast there most days, and Gloria takes care of your preferences. We’ll be back for sure. The views are beautiful, and the rooms were clean and roomy. I have a big dog, so the dog-friendly policy was amazing. Waves 🌊🌊🌊

Such a great room, and everything was so clean and organized. The staff were the nicest, and the AC was wonderfully cool.
