The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was good. The hotel itself is beautiful and very secluded, with a quiet, relaxing feel. It’s far from the action in the middle of the coast, though, and there isn’t much in the way of amenities or daytime entertainment. The beach wasn’t usable because of all the seaweed and murky water.

After a really disappointing stay at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive, where they completely dropped the ball, Waldorf Astoria Cancun made up for it in every way for us. The service was a huge change: the staff were welcoming, attentive, and seemed to care about making the stay special. The food was excellent throughout, the rooms were very comfortable and luxurious, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and upscale from the moment we arrived. Some things are a bit pricey, but with this level of attention and service, it felt fair and worth it. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return. It reminded us what hospitality can feel like.

Breakfast at Chaya was a highlight, especially the fantastic spread and amazing French toast. The whole stay at Waldorf Astoria Cancun felt special, from the thoughtful atmosphere to the attention to detail. Service was flawless from the moment we arrived, and every staff member we met was warm, polite, and genuinely kind. We won’t forget it.

We had an amazing family trip. The hotel and restaurants were in great shape and felt top notch, and we spent almost all our time in the pool. My kids loved the kids club, and Esperanza was incredible with them. The common areas need more televisions. Even the lobby bar and the bar by the pool were short on TVs showing sports.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and everyone went above and beyond to look after us. There are several excellent dining options on site. The Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya is a beautiful property, with gorgeous water views and two stunning pools that were impeccably maintained. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return.
