Casitas Miramar Puerto Vallarta Malecón

The staff were so warm and helpful, and made me feel welcome from the start. Casitas Miramar has a peaceful, cozy feel, with thoughtful details and rooms that are beautifully decorated, very clean, and full of local charm. The location is good and quiet. You can tell the place is run with love. I loved my stay, would return in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone after a special, authentic stay in Puerto Vallarta.

The daytime construction next door was very loud, and there was no vehicle access. Room B is on the ground floor at the front of the building, right beside the main entrance and directly on the street. The bed shares a wall with the main entry corridor, so it was really noisy. During our stay, people walked and played music on the sidewalk right outside our room throughout the night. The glass door from the corridor, plus the glass panels on its sides and above, had no curtains, so corridor light came into the room all night. We raised our concerns and asked to move, but were told by message that no other rooms were available. We never saw other guests, and breakfast was empty of other people. There's no front desk, so the hotel handles all communication on Whatsapp. After our first request to move, they stopped responding to us and to the hotels.com representative. We never heard from or saw them again. A new multi-story building is being built next door, adding construction noise during the day. It was an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing stay, and I don't recommend it.

It's right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, so it's a great spot if you want to explore on foot. There are lots of places to eat nearby, from street food to nice restaurants, and it's easy to get a bus, Uber, or taxi. The place and people were amazing. There was construction noise Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 6:00, but we were usually out exploring and didn't notice it much. The AC and ventilador were super important.

We loved our eight days here. The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we enjoyed spending each morning on the rooftop. The construction next door ran from 8-5, but the Wi-Fi was good and Spotify worked well. The central location gave us an authentic experience, with an easy walk to the busy tourist areas and Playa Camarones. We hope to come back next year.
