Hotel Porto Allegro - Near Malecon

Road noise went on until midnight and started again early the next day, and the walls were so thin I could hear everything. It made for a terrible start to my vacation, and I eventually switched hotels. This is the noisiest hotel I've stayed at in years. The experience even left me wishing I hadn't come to Mexico. If you want somewhere quiet, go elsewhere.

We had a spacious, clean room with a king bed and a little walk-out patio overlooking the ocean, mountains, and church. The air conditioning worked great in the humidity, and there was also a ceiling fan over the bed. The fridge was a good size, and we got two bottles of water each day. Breakfast was included and made to order from the menu in the small top-floor dining room, except for the delicious beef stew. Everything was great apart from the bed, which was too soft. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Porto Allegro, and the location and service were great. Thank you Porto Allegro!!!

The rooms were quite nice, though mine had no balcony, and I had to remake the bed because it had been set up for an infant with a waterproof sheet. Breakfast was good, and the location near El Centro was great. Most of the staff were great too, but I had an issue with one employee and contacted the owner last April. I still haven't heard back, so I'm leaving a review instead. Otherwise, good!

Good value for the money. The staff were very polite and accommodating, and both the room and location were excellent.
