The rooftop pool was a lovely bonus, with sun beds and towels, and the homemade breakfast each day was the cherry on top. Staff members were kind and courteous. We were glad to land at Villa Lola for our winter getaway. My best friend and I wanted cleanliness, comfort, safety, and easy access to the city center’s restaurants and beaches, and it met all those priorities. Our room had a small balcony and air conditioning we could set to our preferred temperature. The street was quiet at night, yet just steps from the action. A cab to or from the airport was inexpensive and could pull up at the front door. There’s a long staircase from the street down to the main part of town, so anyone with mobility issues will want to use the elevator, which runs until 10 pm. For a boutique-style stay at a good value, this is a fantastic option.

The staff were incredible, and the traditional breakfast was included. It’s quiet but still close to everything, which worked well for guests who like to get around on foot. The room’s decor has a local, historical feel, a nice change from standard hotels. And I nearly forgot: it was the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. My UV flashlight 🔦 backs that up!

Villa Lola was a great fit for our milestone birthday: we had the whole place to ourselves, with hotel service and amenities, and plenty of privacy to enjoy the trip with friends. Logan and the team helped us handle all the details, from airport transfers and local guides to spa options and an in-house chef dinner. They also worked around our dietary needs and put together different breakfasts. With so many moving parts, having Logan keep everything organized made a huge difference. The location in the Romantic Zone is ideal, and to us it’s the best part of PV. We can’t wait to come back to Puerto Vallarta and stay here again 🧡

The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a great vibe. Breakfast was amazing, and we were close to both the beach and good restaurants. ponchos Takos was so yummy. The service was wonderful too. I honestly can’t say enough good things.

I loved the intimate feel of the place, even though it’s in a lively area near the beach and restaurants. Logan, the general manager, was efficient, professional, easygoing, and on top of everything. Eli made us a filling breakfast and kept our room clean the whole time.
