Fiesta Inn Queretaro Centro Sur

There are lots of restaurants and bars around this comfortable, very good hotel. The service felt really professional, and I’d recommend it for another visit to Querétaro.

The meeting rooms were fine for space and cleanliness, but the doors made so much noise that they became distracting and annoying after a couple of hours. Bathroom hygiene was also questionable. The women’s restroom had no toilet seat covers, and anyone familiar with the issue knows flushing without a cover isn’t advisable. Look it up on Google, it’s gross. The staff were kind and helpful, but those problems brought down the experience.

We arrived late and picked the hotel based on its apparent closeness to the bus station, using only the map. It turned out we could only get there by taxi, though the ride to the door took less than three minutes, so keep that in mind. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are really friendly with foreigners. There’s noise from a nearby bar, but once you settle into the room, you can sleep peacefully.

I stayed for ten days. The breakfast buffet was great, and you can order things like fried eggs, but one side of the toaster was broken and they did nothing about it. Dinner at the restaurant wasn’t superb. I preferred both Argentine restaurants within walking distance, where the value for money was great. The rooms are good.
