Everything was good, and edsson helped me during my stay.

The room was still 80.4F/28.9C by the bed at 11:20pm, even though the AC had been running since I checked in around 8:00pm. It had been 84F/29C when I arrived. I spent hours working in the lobby while I waited for it to cool down, and the staff said no smaller rooms were available. They came to look after I spoke with them, but nothing changed, and nobody offered a fan to move what little cool air there was. I may end up trying the worn couch by the AC, or the cushions in the cooler eating area, just to sleep. I'm a business traveler who spends a lot of time in Mexico, and I pay Hampton Inn's rates because I want a decent night's sleep. I'm not sure I'll get one here. Don't take the offered junior suite. It's large, and the AC is too small for it. The hotel must know about this problem. If they know they're full, they should turn on the AC before guests arrive. Bad management.

I usually book a king room here when I visit Reynosa, and this has become my regular hotel. The beds are softer, bigger, and better than the ones at other nearby hotels I've tried. Rooms are a good size, very clean, and have walk-in showers. Breakfast is good, and they serve lunch at the same time too if you'd rather eat something different. There's a pool as well. It's convenient, with restaurants within walking distance and everything you need in the shopping center. The host speaks English, so it's fine if you don't speak Spanish. I'd book the room you want ahead of time. I also usually leave the housekeeping staff a tip out of courtesy because they work hard. I leave 200 pesos, about $10.

I spent a week here and had no complaints. The rooms are spacious, and mine had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is available every morning; the choices are limited, but still good. There's also a pool, which could be nice in Reynosa's heat, though I didn't use it myself. It's a great hotel for a week's visit. If you're staying longer, I'd probably look around for other options.
