Casablanca Resort

We had a great stay at this clean, beautiful hotel right on the beach. The suites stayed cool, the pool area was lovely, and there was nice seating by the water. Breakfast was included and delicious, and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel staff were all welcoming and accommodating too. I spoke most with Ani (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly) at the front desk, who was kind and helpful with my questions. The beds were mostly comfortable, though firmer than I prefer. It was frustrating that people claimed the hotel's beach seats early with bags, shoes, or clothes, then disappeared for hours. I saw a sign saying unattended belongings would be taken to the front desk after 30 minutes, though my Spanish isn't great, and I don't think the rule was enforced. I'd absolutely return.

The location was nice, but we stayed four days at the beginning of March and found the rules they sent us ahead of time weren't enforced. By 9 a.m. most days, people had claimed all the pool and beach chairs with books or towels and then stayed away for hours. Our suite had no Wi-Fi, and there was no warm water in the shower. I told the front desk, but nothing happened. Breakfast was included, but we only ate it once because the restaurant was mediocre and better food was available elsewhere. The drinks were weak and overpriced.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the beach and location were nice. The only downside was that the shower had no hot water.

We had a great stay at Casablanca. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the service is great. My only wish is that the beds were more comfortable.
