Most things worked, and the place was clean. There’s a pool and common area, though I didn’t use the facilities. Parking is around the corner.

The room was easy to get to, and Rio Lagartos is walkable from here. The bed was very spacious, the staff pleasant, and the pool quite nice. The room was generally clean, though there were a few small stains on the sheets and towels. A flamingo tour was offered as soon as we’d unloaded the car. It would’ve been better to let us settle in first. At night, dogs bark constantly and make the street really noisy. Parking can also be tricky on a nearby street.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and having laundry facilities on site was a nice bonus. Everything was clean. The pool was empty, so we couldn’t use it, but that wasn’t the main reason we stayed. Great value for the price, and we’d happily come back 😊

The location was perfect, and I felt very comfortable here. I’d definitely return if I come back to Rio! The owner was so kind and connected me with a gentleman who runs inexpensive tours in French. My room was clean, with a very large bed that was hard but still comfortable enough for a great night’s sleep. I arrived in the evening and left my laundry with her; she washed it right away for the next day. A couple of things that might bother some people didn’t bother me personally. The frosted glass door lets light into the room, so light-sensitive sleepers may want a sleep mask. The shower was cold at first, with hot water arriving only at the end, and the water pressure was very weak.
