Hotel Corona Plaza

The location and breakfast were the only good parts for me. You can walk to the beach and local spots in Rosarito, and the kitchen staff were amazing. I wish I could give them a better review, but I have to keep it 100. The rooms were really small, with no ironing boards or remotes for the TV or AC, and the jacuzzi didn’t work. You get two towels per room, and the security guard made an issue of us taking them to the beach, so definitely bring your own. The pool was very cold too. They need to improve a lot. Maybe in the future Airbnb will work better for us.

The staff keep to themselves and don’t bother you, which I liked. The location is good too, just a block from the beach. Breakfast was alright, the same old eggs, chilaquiles, and beans, though they do have other options you can order. I gave it a 2 because we had no water for a couple of hours when we arrived, and there was no Netflix or anything like that, just cable.

Getting the room took almost two hours because so many people were checking in and the front desk was extremely disorganized. After we finally got in, the room was old, in bad shape, and poorly maintained. There was no hot water, so I had to shower with cold water. I reported it three different times, but the staff didn’t care or try to fix it. The wait, the room condition, and the lack of customer service made for a very unpleasant stay. I was extremely unhappy and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

For the price, you could easily find somewhere better, so I’d recommend doing your research. The room was in terrible condition, even though it was pretty cheap and in a decent location. The breakfast was decent but very limited, and check-in took over an hour since each person needed almost 10 minutes.
