Pacific King Hotel

The restaurant had almost nothing to serve. They said they had just 2 eggs, so our table of 3 could order only one dish. On top of that, the place is isolated, and the muddy ground during shower season is risky. Our car got stuck, and I’d avoid bringing family here. I found the service shady and downright criminal. They don’t give refunds, and I suspect that’s why they don’t pick up the phone. I paid with AMEX, and even they warned us about the establishment after they couldn’t get through to the administration. Don’t recommend it. Try calling their number and see for yourself, they don’t answer for a reason.

The staff were great and it’s a good hotel. Getting there takes some care, though. The roads are rough and the signs aren’t good, so traveling in daylight is probably best. If you lose your way, the locals are happy to point you in the right direction.

The staff were really nice, and there’s a little bar right in the pool. You can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner there too. The view and pool are amazing, and the rooms are perfect, with air conditioning and SkyTV. Really amazing hotel.

There aren’t many places to eat in town, so we were glad the food and setting at Pacific King restaurant were so good. I had camerones con coco, and my wife ordered the fajitas de pollo. Both were very tasty.
