Casa Majeva

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the week. Casa Mejva is a real hidden gem at Punta Conejo, and one of the best surf camps I've stayed at. Enrique was a warm, welcoming, and accommodating host, especially with our vegan diets. Alejandro was a fantastic surf guide and fun to spend time with. The modern design and amenities are beautiful, too. It works well for groups, families, or solo travelers.

The food was amazing and varied, and we enjoyed the stay so much that we added another night. The hotel itself was beautiful, with kind staff and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The beach is just a few minutes away on foot and was completely empty. The waves looked ideal for surfing, and there's also a beach with smaller waves for swimming.

The location is a little remote, but it's ideal for surfers since you can walk to the Punta Conejo surf spot. When the wind isn't right, Alex, the surf guide, knows where to find good waves, and you can arrange transport there on site. We had our own kitchen but usually ate at the restaurant, where the food was delicious. Enrique was a great host and even invited us to a village festival, giving us a chance to experience local culture firsthand. Beautiful accommodation and lovely hosts. We'd be happy to come back!

The surf spot nearby was a dream, with a right that seemed to go on forever, and Alex also took us to other great spots. We had a fantastic five nights at Casa Majeva: the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were all friendly, and the kitchen made delicious food. On our last evening, we were invited to a festival in the neighboring village and danced all night. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Mexico. Thanks for everything, Enrique. See you next time!
