Gran Hotel Don Nacho

The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked really well. There’s a pool deck and bar, and the servers bring food and drinks right to you. The staff were friendly and fun, and the hotel looks recently renovated and up to date. It’s in a random spot, but convenient. My only complaint is the wifi, but hey, it’s 🇲🇽.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the price was affordable. Staff were very polite. There’s a private parking lot with a gate that’s closed at night, and a gatekeeper lets you in if you arrive late.

Check-in was easy, and I loved how spotless the new hotel was. The AC and water pressure were great. The pool is deep, though, and scary for small kids. For this location it’s kind of pricey. Avoid sleeping on the second floor: the third floor is a banquet hall, and you can hear everything. Parties kept me awake, and the staff didn’t care.

The rooms were okay, but the walls are thin enough that you can hear people talking in the alleyway. The staff were friendly and reminded me when the restaurant was closing so I wouldn’t miss dinner. Breakfast starts late and dinner ends early, so keep the hours in mind.
