Punta Conejo Resort

It had a nice rustic feel, but was insanely overpriced. We paid $7200 for a week for 4 grown adults crammed into one room on twin beds with lousy sheets and a shared bathroom. There was a driver for the week, but we were still packed into a jalopy truck with our close friends. Heavy tipping seemed expected at the end. Sand flies were everywhere and biting.

Waking up to an oceanfront view every morning was awesome, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious every day. Our guide was fantastic, knew a lot, and took us to the best surf spots for the conditions during our stay. We had an amazing time at punta Conejo surf camp and highly recommend the trip!

We traveled with my wife, our daughters (4.5 and 1.5), and a couple of friends for a late-season trip at the end of October. The local staff and guides work hard to give guests a great experience, and Hector helped arrange logistics for after our stay elsewhere in Oaxaca. Everything was clean and worked well, even at the end of surf season. Adrian was our guide, and his local knowledge helped us have fun and surf conditions suited to our skill level. We couldn’t bring our own boards, so we rented from their stash and another camp down the road. The food was great, with plenty of snacks and drinks. Starlink internet was fast enough for me to keep up with work and stream college football. Punta Conejo Resort exceeded my expectations, and I’ll certainly be back. Thanks for a fantastic trip!

We came during the shoulder season and still got several incredible days of surfing. Our guide picked the best spots for both the conditions and our skill levels. The house staff gave great service, and every meal was delicious. The beachfront pool and comfortable shared areas were ideal for relaxing before and after surfing. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great surf getaway.
