City Express by Marriott Saltillo Sur

I felt safe throughout my stay, and the staff were very friendly. The lobby and outside were mostly clean and presentable too. My room was #321, though, and its carpet needs cleaning. The toilet also needs adjusting when it’s flushed. Garbage bags were left in the hallway outside the rooms overnight. They were there from when I first checked in until 7 in the morning, when I checked out. I’d suggest having someone pick them up.

There isn’t much food choice nearby, and the shower curtain wasn’t put up until the next day. Also, none of the staff at the check-in desk could speak English.

I’d booked the wrong hotel, but the staff did their best to help us and were really helpful. The manager was especially kind and understanding. I believe his name is Omar. We highly recommend it.

It’s a simple but very good hotel. The staff are lovely, and breakfast includes traditional Mexican food such as beans. The Central Bus Station is just across the street.
