Fiesta Inn Saltillo

The hotel restaurant was very good, and the service there was excellent. My room was large and very nice, and the air conditioner worked great. It was quiet and comfortable too. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

The hotel itself was clean, but its condition could be better. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The front desk team, though, were the best: extremely friendly and patient, and they went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed from the moment I checked in. As a visitor who doesn’t know Spanish, I really appreciated that they understood and spoke English very well. Their attentive attitude impressed me and showed professional customer service skills. They seemed well trained by Fiesta group.

The pool itself is nice, but it could use more cleaning. There was dirt and debris from the palm trees, along with a few dead mosquitoes. Getting towels for the pool was difficult, and parking is limited, so arriving late may mean there's no space left. The rooms are nice, though.

The staff were very friendly, and most could speak English. My room was okay, but after three weeks I found the place comfortable enough only for a shorter stay. The shower water smelled horrible when I turned it on, and the air conditioner sounded like an old truck outside. The pool was dirty and covered in bird droppings. Restaurant food was mostly okay, though the service seemed to get worse each time I went.
