Casa San Cristóbal

After just one night, my girlfriend and I moved out. The place didn’t have much to offer, and the male staff were aggressive and unprofessional. Female travelers, I’d strongly recommend staying away.

Angel was so kind and helpful, always making sure guests were comfortable and happy. The hotel is clean and beautiful, with a kitchen that has pretty much everything you need to cook. It’s in a quiet area, and I’d definitely stay again 😊

Casa San Cristobál was a lovely place to recharge away from the stressful, chaotic city traffic. I could relax and get my energy back for exploring San Cristobál. The kind host made me feel at ease right from the start, and the accommodation itself was incredibly beautiful. I also really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the laid-back rooftop terrace for meals. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, beautiful place to stay :)

The location made things easy: there’s a bakery right across the street, a very cheap convenience store on the opposite corner, an Oxxo a few minutes away, and the main square is a 10 minute walk. The ADO station is only a few minutes away too, and affordable restaurants line the nearby streets. It was my favorite place to stay in San Cristobal, with cozy, quiet, well-maintained private rooms at prices not much higher than some dorm beds nearby. The room had plenty of hooks and sockets, a heater that was much appreciated on cold San Cristobal nights, comfortable beds, and two thick blankets. Hot shower water was occasionally weak, though it wasn’t a regular problem and may have been due to several people using it at once. The common areas and rooftop were clean and cozy. The kitchen is small, but that never caused an issue. It has an electric kettle, microwave, stove top, and a dispenser for clean drinking water. The Wi-Fi was strong and steady in the rooms, common areas, and rooftop. Staff were friendly and easy to reach on WhatsApp, and the few times I contacted them they replied within minutes. If I come back to San Cristóbal, this is where I’ll stay.
