I ended up switching to an Airbnb because the stay was that bad. It was noisy and dirty, the staff were rude, and there was no parking for a car. They say they’re pet friendly, but you have to walk three blocks with your pets, through streets with loads of stray dogs. Muy feo!

The staff were consistently friendly and polite, and the price was reasonable. It’s a modern, pleasant hotel, with rooms that are a little small but still cozy. I’d recommend it.

The hotel itself was clean, but the service really let us down. We had no hot water on two mornings, and the maid forgot the tissues even after I called reception to ask for some. There weren’t any drawers in the room for putting things away, either. One day, after I’d returned from shopping and left my purchases in the room, I went out to lunch. Before leaving, I’d asked reception to bring towels. When I came back that afternoon, some jewelry my husband had just bought me at the Ambar Museum was gone. I was very upset.
