Jardines De Luz Hotel

The main bother was how much sound carried from the corridor. We could hear people walking by and talking, often late at night or early in the morning. The staff were very nice and helpful, though, and the rooms were basic but roomy and comfortable enough. Thick, warm blankets kept us from getting cold, and the shower always had hot water.

The location was perfect, but the hotel was noisy. Sounds from people returning to their rooms echoed through the corridor, and hallway lights came through our window and door whenever someone passed. We were told breakfast was included, so check before eating downstairs. We were charged high prices, 95mx for one coffee, and street sellers were allowed into the restaurant while we ate, which was very annoying. It’s an expensive hotel, and there are better ones in the area.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and our room had no view or window. The attractive photos, including the church view and garden, show a separate place that can be rented for weddings or other events, not facilities for hotel guests. There are much better places to stay for the same price or less.

From the outside the hotel may not seem like much, but the rooms are great and the Wi-Fi really works. Super cool place.
