The hotel’s inner courtyard is beautiful, and it’s quiet while still being close enough to the center. Room service was really good, and the shower was amazing. The room itself was great, but the beds were so soft that I sank right in and woke up with a sore back. Reception was a mixed experience, one guy was nice, while a young woman was disappointing. The WiFi didn’t work properly, and despite being told several times that it would be fixed, nothing changed.

A real highlight is the new kitchen, run by chef Alfonso Roblas Mar y Milpa. The food is based entirely on local ingredients, which helps support the surrounding communities, and the cheesecake is the standout. Highly recommend it. The hotel itself is fantastic too, with a great location, lovely room, very comfortable bed, and wonderful staff.

The courtyards and rooms are beautiful, and the water features and grassy spots make the whole place feel so peaceful. I’ve never slept on a more comfortable bed. I even snapped a photo of the model so I can buy one someday!

The little courtyard gardens are a lovely place to sit and read, and breakfast was excellent. It feels like a relaxing oasis, and the hotel is an easy walk from the old quarters of San Cristobal. If you’re driving, there’s a small onsite parking area. When that’s full, there’s another lot half a block away. The street is too narrow for parking.

The restaurant is nice and breakfast was very good. It’s well located near restaurants, bars, and stores, and the rooms are clean, nicely lit, with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. There’s no AC, heater, phone, or elevator, though, and parking is a hassle since the lot is separate from the hotel.
