The beds were like heaven, and I slept so well. The rooms are beautifully detailed, and the people are very nice. It's an easy walk to the lovely city center, which makes it a great base for exploring Chiapas. Highly recommended.

Roxana looked after us for most of our six nights and was professional, kind, and gracious. When my girlfriend got injured, staff even helped us flag down a taxi, and the service was 10/10 throughout. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, the accommodation feels luxurious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had breakfast there twice, both times delicious, and chose to eat in the garden. The location was convenient too: under ten minutes on foot to the historic downtown, with affordable taxis. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

Our room had a snug chimney area overlooking a beautiful garden, a lovely spot to relax. The staff were very accommodating, and the hotel has an authentic charm.

The staff deserve special mention. One of them protected us from a dishonest taxi driver trying to overcharge us, which meant a lot after we'd run into so many scammers and often felt helpless. The hotel is just outside the centre of San Cristobal, and our room let us rest and recharge. The bed was among the most comfortable of our vacation. Roosters do start up around 6am, but that didn't bother us.

A turkey farm next door means a rooster woke us every morning, with the poultry gobbling along, but we actually found it nice. The hotel was great, safe and secure, with amazing staff, a fireplace, and all the comforts you'd expect.
