It’s quiet enough to sleep with the window open, even though the hotel is just a short walk from all the local activity. San Cristobal has church fireworks every day. The location is great, and there’s laundry service next door. It’s a small, nice hotel at a great price. The rooms are clean. You can book online or pay cash there. There’s parking a few blocks away, or you can park on the street near the hotel. No AC, but you can open the windows for cool air.

We were there for five nights, and the room was clean with fresh towels whenever we came back. It had wifi, a smart TV, hot and cold water, extra blankets, good coffee, and a nice balcony view. The towels smelled lovely, too. It’s close to the plaza, with lots of restaurants nearby, plus a little convenience store right next door and a pharmacy close by. My husband and I chose to visit Chiapas and stay in San Cristobal de las Casa. I tried to book Hotel Casa del Sol, but couldn’t get the reservation through for some reason. Patricia, the amazing woman in charge, contacted me on WhatsApp, and we got it sorted. She was patient and very helpful. When we arrived, we were welcomed with smiling faces. It’s a small, welcoming hotel, and the rooms were very clean. When my husband needed to stay a couple of extra nights, Patricia arranged for him to keep the same room. Great place, I recommend it.

The people are so nice, and the hotel is beautiful. The price is incredible. If you want somewhere cheap and comfortable, I really recommend staying here.
