The location was excellent, just five minutes from the plaza and all the shopping, food, and nightlife, while still being on the quiet side. We spent four nights here and loved the stay. The place feels like stepping back in time and hanging out at your grandparents’ house. The rooms and property have lots of detail, with a rustic, slightly modern look that feels like Mexico. The staff were professional, friendly, and courteous, and I’d definitely stay again and recommend the hotel. Our only issue was the shower: it seemed to be missing either a matching glass door or a curtain, so water sprayed onto the bathroom floor and made it dangerously slippery. I’m looking forward to the dining room opening. Awesome place to stay in San Cristobal de las Casas. Thank you!

A small hotel in a handy spot in Sancris, with lots of places around the property that are great for photos. The walls seem thin, though, and sound travels through them easily.

The space was excellent and clean, and I really liked how comfortable the bed was. But it’s 5:30 a.m. now, and construction inside the hotel started at 5:00. My wife and I can’t sleep because of the noise.

The courtyard is beautiful and definitely the restaurant’s redeeming feature. We ate here, but were very disappointed by the service, the food quality, and how it was presented.

The suite we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the hotel was nice. I wouldn’t recommend booking tours or trips through the hotel.
