Hotel Punta Guadalupe

The staff couldn't have been friendlier. We got a big, clean room with two comfortable beds for about $25/night U.S., plus good wifi, a TV, and hot water. I highly recommend staying here!

Awful.

We spent just one night there, and I wouldn't recommend it. The room was dirty, the sheets were stained, and everything felt cold and damp, with water leaking. At night we heard shouting and what sounded like a fight. We first thought it was other guests, but it turned out to be staff. My daughter was terrified by what she heard.

I checked in yesterday. I called reception and was given a rate I could pay online, but the payment never worked. Once we arrived, they charged me $150 more than the amount in their email. We were in a hurry and accepted it. The room looked unswept, had no toilet paper or trash can, and I had to leave the light on to charge my phone. The mattresses were awful, and the towel they gave me came from a black bag and smelled musty. Hot water wasn't available either. At 3 a.m., someone knocked and nearly broke down the front door because the receptionist wasn't answering. He was asleep 😴🥱😴🥱 after smoking a joint, haha. Then at 7 am, there was another scene because I was making coffee, hahaha. It's a very dirty place, not worth the money, and the staff have absolutely no respect for guests.
