Our stay was good until we had to deal with the host. He was hostile and rude, and pressured us to leave a good review on booking. Com, threatening to make us leave immediately if we didn’t. We had plans that day and would have lost the whole day if we’d had to leave, so we did what he asked and posted a positive review on booking. Com. That’s not how service should work. Only book if you’re prepared for a hostile attitude that could ruin your day.

The wifi was reliable, the WhatsApp communication was smooth and quick, and the location was ideal. I’d stay again. The tierra suite was lovely. I only wish I could have used the kitchen, but I guess the kitchenware is reserved for long-term guests.

We had just two towels for five people and got no reply when we asked for more. The place seemed like it might have been missed during cleaning, as it was dirty. It has charm and character and a very good location, so it could be a great little place.

The staff gave me the best service I’ve had at a hotel, and I really didn’t want to leave. The hotel’s architecture is beautiful and the location is privileged, so it’s hard not to enjoy your time there. There’s delicious breakfast and a relaxing spa where you can disconnect, with incredible prices too. This was easily the best hotel experience I had in San Cristóbal. Don’t think twice, it’s a great way to experience the city.

After booking, I got a sketchy and honestly disturbing WhatsApp message demanding that I send my personal ID to the mover WhatsApp. You should never do that. The owner was very rude, and this entity is not a hotel. I don’t usually leave one-star reviews, but this fake business deserves it. Sketchy all around. Don’t book here.
