We had a delicious dinner and great drinks at the restaurant on both stays. The hotel has a welcoming, warm feel, and we love the decor and overall vibe. We’ve stayed here twice while passing through San Felipe, using it as an overnight stop, and slept comfortably both times. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s close to the malecón but far enough from the noise for a good night’s sleep.

The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean, and the staff are nice. It feels safe, though there was never anyone at the guard shack out front. We had the usual water pressure issues and no wash cloths, which seems to be a Mexico phenomenon. The view is good for a place that isn’t on the water. The location near the sand dunes means drag races and fireworks at all hours, so peaceful it definitely wasn’t. There’s also an Alfredo connection that feels a bit overplayed. I wish the restaurant served Mexican food, since it’s mainly Italian with pizza. If it had Mexican food, we wouldn’t have left. Still, it’s a great place, and we’ll be back.

My Dad and I spent a night here in March 2025 and loved it. There’s a pool with a volleyball net, corn hole, and a restaurant. If you’re ever in San felipe, you’ve gotta come here.

This classic Hacienda-style hotel has pleasant grounds and is well maintained. It feels like classic Baja, with much more character than modern hotels. The rooms are standard size, with comfortable beds, a mini fridge, and a very quiet atmosphere. The Italian restaurant on site serves excellent food, often with live music. A bit of history: the hotel and restaurant belonged to the creator of Alfredo sauce, an Italian chef from Mexico City. His daughter still runs the kitchen. Classic!
