The bio-emotional healing sessions with Jaime and Adriana were a big part of my retreat. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the energy healing, abdominal massage, and their gentle, grounding presence left me floating through the days. They made it feel safe to be vulnerable and just be. I left happier and healthier, with plenty to think about thanks to their wisdom, and I'm so grateful I got to meet Jaime. I can't wait to return. I spent three nights in the beautiful bamboo cabin, then wished I could stay the rest of the week, but they were booked. The place is fairly secluded, about two minutes from the beach and a 15-minute oceanside walk into town, with everything I needed to be comfortable. I loved being close to nature and how eco-conscious it is, from compost toilets to wildlife visitors and the lovely plants. The outdoor shower was phenomenal, bathing in the jungle surrounded by life was unlike anything else. Aldea Bamboo was a wonderful place to rest my bones and heal my spirit.

The traditional wedding ceremony was the part that stayed with us most. In the jungle, indigenous music and rituals made our vow renewal feel like a beautiful immersion in old traditions, and the locals' warmth gave it a special cultural richness. This was our five-year vow renewal, and the whole retreat felt soul-stirring. Jaime also gave us useful talks about nonviolent communication, love languages, and conscious sex. Our rustic accommodation fit naturally into the surroundings and felt cozy. Waking to birds singing and seeing the stars at night felt surreal. The food was a wonderful celebration of Mexican cooking, full of local spices and fresh ingredients. The jungle setting gave us more than a place to stay and eat, it made the celebration feel authentic and unforgettable.

The outdoor shower light didn't work, so we had to shower in the dark, and the wifi wasn't working when we arrived. The mosquito net had holes, and we woke up covered in bites. When we checked in, there was animal poop and cobwebs all over. We asked the host to have someone clean it while we went out to explore town for the entire day. The host said someone had already come, but when we got back, nothing had been cleaned and the poop was still there. We stayed two nights and nobody showed up. Don't stay here if you want a clean, relaxing visit.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the food is vegan. It feels special here, especially if you like nature and eco-focused places. The jungle atmosphere is magical, with the sea just a two-minute walk away. The wood furniture and utilities are carefully maintained and handcrafted. We'd love to come back and stay longer.

You'll want mosquito spray. There’s an outdoor shower and an eco toilet, and the place is beautiful, a real chance to relax and reconnect with nature. The experience could have used AC, but we’ll definitely come back sometime soon.
