The location is great, but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. The communal kitchen was filthy, and the fridge door came off in my hands. I wouldn’t cook there. There was mold in the bathroom, no light above the only mirror, and yet there was one over the toilet. We had no hot water for two days. If the owners cared enough to fix things, it could be a sweet spot. I paid $90usd per night, but it was worth $40 at best. Sorry to say it, but it was a major yuck.

The quiet pool was a lovely place to unwind, and the hotel was extremely well maintained and managed. The location was great, the rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the air conditioning was amazing. All the employees were kind and friendly. Special thanks to the managers, Barbra and Diego, for being so welcoming and attentive.

The staff at Casa di Giulio were quick to help with any questions or concerns. After my prepaid reservation at Casa Fulana fell through, they turned what started as a bad vacation into a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were airy, spacious, and clean, and the pool was refreshing and clean too. It’s tucked into a quiet neighborhood, just two blocks from the beach and one from the Main Street. There’s a small fridge and coffee station in the room, plus a large kitchen by the pool for guests.

It’s just off the main drag, so you’re out of range of the party noise, though there are restaurants and bars within a block. There’s even a good little late-night taco stand next door. The beach is about 2-3 blocks away, and the common areas have pretty trees all around. The dipping pool is very small but heated. I’d recommend the place and would come back if I visit San Pancho again.
