PAL.MAR Hotel Tropical

Very comfortable and thoughtfully done, and I’d highly recommend it. The staff were helpful, the rooms were large and nice, and the pool was a great place to relax after the beach. San Pancho is a great location for this lovely boutique hotel. Saturday nights can bring loud music from the bars. Roosters may wake you up, and for some reason they crow all night, but I imagine that’s the case anywhere in town. Check which room you’re booking, since a couple on the ground floor are less private than the others.

SanPancho was so lovely that I extended my stay, and moved to this hotel. Mara, the manager, really makes the place special. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. I stayed in both a smaller room and one with a full kitchen. Even the smaller ones came with a fridge, coffee pot and complimentary coffee. Both rooms were clean, and the beds were super comfy. They also have safes in the rooms, and the hotel felt quiet and very secure. The pool was clean, set in a jungle oasis, and the hotel is right in the center of town, just a short hop to the beach. I traveled as a single woman and would absolutely stay again. Loved the hotel and SanPancho. A little gem in the heart of Mexico!

The place has a peaceful feel, and my spotless room had super soft sheets and towels. It felt quietly luxurious, with everything I needed and no extra frills. The staff were kind and attentive from the start, and clearly paid attention to little details. When it rained one day, they had an umbrella ready for me. The pool was a nice change of pace from the beach waves. I absolutely loved my stay and would 100% come back.

The hotel is nice, but the rooms by the entrance are far too noisy and I got no rest. Staff held their meeting right outside my room early in the morning and were loud. When I asked them to move it somewhere else, they made faces at me.
