Casa Nima by Lumina

Jose at the front desk and hospitality desk deserves a shout-out. He was attentive, easy to reach, and made the whole stay run smoothly. Our suite had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, everything we needed, and a deck facing the pool. The decor was beautiful, the kind I’d love in my own home, and having a washer and dryer was so handy. There’s a lot to enjoy on the property: a pool, sauna, gym, yoga facilities, pool table, ping pong, foosball, pickleball, cabana beds, seating areas, and fire pits. We loved it. The Art District and several restaurants were about a 9-minute Uber ride away. We’ll book Casa Nima again, and next time bring the whole family. Thanks again, Jose!

Traveling with our young kids felt easy at Casa Nima, which says a lot. It has a calm, welcoming feel and a great location, and the team were warm, attentive, and ready to help. The two-bedroom residence in the San José building was just steps from the pool, so going back and forth with the kids was simple. Their room was thoughtfully set up as its own place to play and relax, which gave us a chance to unwind too. The pool became the focus of our days, peaceful and family friendly, just right for long afternoons. Casa Nima manages to feel special without losing its comfort. One of our best family trips. We’ll be back.

The two-bedroom apartment at Casa Nima was a pleasure to stay in, and we’d come back. It was near a lovely pool that never felt crowded. Inside, the decor was thoughtful and attractive, and the kitchen had all we needed for making coffee, tea, and meals. There was a little noise from construction on site, but it was minimal and only a minor inconvenience.

The staff were warm and helpful without being intrusive, and the pools were so relaxed that we never had to compete for chairs. There’s a restaurant on site, though its menu is limited. More specialty coffees or lattes would be nice, but nearby shopping and easy delivery made that a small issue. We spent New Year’s here with our baby and my mother, and the whole property felt calm, comfortable, and carefully designed for a multi-generational trip. The apartment was ideally placed near the gym and steam room. Both the baby and adult pools are heated, so we could enjoy them any time. The immaculate grounds added to the peaceful, resort-like atmosphere. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the property was even more beautiful in person than in the accurate photos. There was no construction noise or disruption over New Year’s. It was one of our best vacations, and we’re already looking forward to returning to Casa Nima.
