Hotel Marelinn

The beds in room 102 had bedbugs, and the hot water was out, so my grandmother had to shower in freezing water. Someone came to try to fix it. There was also a lot of noise in the hallways, and the remote was sticky and awful. The woman who checked us in seemed completely uninterested, and the service was terrible from the start. The location wasn't great, though you can take shortcuts. It was a strange stay, and as I said, those beds had bedbugs.

The Master Suite is incredible, and the location is great. Every staff member gave us top-notch service.

Good value and well located, near the church of San Juan de los Lagos.

I left with a bad taste in my mouth. The door locks and latches were in poor condition, and the air conditioning didn't work. When I decided not to stay after seeing better-quality hotels farther down the road at better prices, I left my car at this hotel for no more than 15 minutes. The owner charged me 100 pesos for parking and threatened to call the police, treating me like a criminal. She was incredibly rude. If you're traveling with family and want a few peaceful days, I'd avoid this place.
