San Juan Park Hotel

The room ventilation is a problem since the windows won't open. We paid for two rooms, and one had no hot water. The other only gave us water that was either scalding or freezing, with no comfortable in-between. At a similar price, you may be better off choosing somewhere else.

The pool was covered, even though we could really have used it. I was also disappointed that breakfast wasn't included, despite being advertised that way when I booked. And the room key controls the power, so we had to leave it in while we were there. I needed to charge my phone and laptop, but when I took the key to go to the carnival, the power went off. They should at least give guests two keys.

The customer service was great, and breakfast was great too. The room was only semi-clean, though, and the AC didn't work, so it was loud and hot. Getting to the pool meant crossing the parking lot.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and great, and the service at both the hotel and its restaurant was excellent. The hotel is just outside town, but still really close.
