Fairfield Inn & Suites San Luis Potosi Los Lagos

Enrique was my dinner server, and he's the reason I'm leaving this review. He made great drinks and took good care of me. The restaurant is great, and the rooms are kept pretty clean. If you're traveling from America and want somewhere comfortable, this is a good choice.

I was happy with my stay, especially the view, the staff, and the location. Breakfast wasn't the best, though. The elevators were the main annoyance: they take forever, one sometimes doesn't work properly, and once you're in, it stops at all the floors.

We arrived exhausted after driving from the US border, and the service was excellent from check-in to our room and dinner. Liset, our dinner waitress, was patient, kind, and attentive, and the food was delicious. At breakfast, Yareli also served us really well, and the food was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we felt safe thanks to the hotel's good security system. We enjoyed our stay.

I picked this hotel for a business trip because it was near the highway, among other things. But after 10 p.m. there was nothing to eat: the restaurant next door was closed, and the bar inside only served drinks. In the morning, the printers weren't working when I needed documents. An attendant kindly printed a couple of pages, but I had many more to print elsewhere, which cost me valuable time. The service drive around highway 57 is like a minefield, and I was forced to use it because the hotel didn't provide services it advertised.
