Millenium Plaza & Suites

The location is in one of the city’s top areas, with a bakery downstairs and lots of restaurants and mall centers just a 1 to 5 minute walk away. For what it offers, I’d say the price is almost free, about the same as a hotel room for a nice apartment. It felt safe and family friendly, and worked really well for remote work. My apartment had two very spacious, comfortable rooms, laminated floors that were nice to walk on barefoot, and AC/Heather. There’s also a small kitchen and dining area together, which was good enough.

I found the suite comfortable and spacious during my eight-day stay. It had most of what I needed, a nice location, convenient fingerprint access instead of keys, and a washer and dryer. The gym, though, is just a treadmill in a very small space. The coffee setup was a problem. The suite had a large coffee maker but no permanent filter, and staff said they didn’t have filters and suggested a filterless kit that only makes four cups in a 12-cup machine. I’d brought my own coffee. The cleaning lady found paper filters, which fixed that part, but the person I assume was in charge of the suites was inflexible and rude when I questioned the missing filter. She didn’t introduce herself. The worst part happened later, when she came into the main living area of our suite on her own while I was napping, saying she wanted to check if I still had coffee filters. I was confused by her sudden appearance. They have my phone number and could have contacted me that way. I was paying for a private space for myself and my companions, and this invasion of privacy was inexcusable and extremely unacceptable. I could have been naked or in any other state, and the manager didn’t care. The good points don’t make up for it. It was truly awful, and I don’t recommend this place.

The room was excellent. I just wish the bathroom came with a small brush for cleaning the toilet.

The room surprised me for the price. It’s like a small apartment, with a kitchenette and little dining area. The location is good too, with countless shops and a couple of plazas within walking distance. Service was good, straightforward, and efficient.
