After my reservation at another place fell through, I came across Patio Zaragoza while walking around the city, and it turned out to be a better choice. They let me check in early, and the room was comfortable. It’s well located, with free coffee in the lobby, a firepit for the evenings, and beach cruisers you can borrow at no charge to explore the city. I even saw a music video being filmed there. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting SLP. Gracias Patio Zaragoza!

We stayed just one night, and it was great. Jesica at the front desk was kind and professional, and I’d especially recommend the place if you need to be in the Historic Center. Keep parking in mind: the hotel has none, but the public parking options felt safe. You’ll need to look around for a spot.

I couldn’t sleep all night. There was loud music next door until 3 or 4 am, and apparently they wouldn’t stop it. The room was uncomfortable and small, and with only a ceiling fan and no A/C, it got too hot. The woman at the front desk was so unfriendly she didn’t even answer our good morning. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just somewhere quiet and comfortable to stay. If you need a place to rest, this isn’t it. I’d never go back.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and I felt safe during my stay. The price included a traditional breakfast, and it was a comfortable stay for the cost. It’s a timeless Mexican colonial hotel in a very convenient spot in historic downtown San Luis. I can’t wait to visit and stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and a nice place to stay, but a few things bothered me. WiFi seemed to go out when the receptionist left for the day at 6 PM. That felt early, since we were trying to book plane tickets and only had one bar of 4G on our Android phones, which made it difficult. We were also charged an extra hundred pesos for parking, unlike at several hotels we’d used in the previous couple of weeks. And even with breakfast included, a second cup of coffee cost extra, which seemed odd.
