I come back to my hometown two or three times a year, and this place has become HOME to me. It's in a handy spot near several roads, by the Benito Juarez round about. The bus station is only a few steps away, downtown is a couple of miles away, Alfonso Lastras soccer stadium is a few blocks away, and the industrial park is a few miles away. Pretty much everything is within reach. The prices are good, the bedrooms are wide, and there's a swimming pool. The restaurant has a buffet that's cheap and delicious. I also have a lot of respect for the housekeeping ladies. I've sometimes left money, my wallet, cellphones, or expensive stuff behind, and when I returned to my bedroom, everything was still there, in place, even better than I left it. The fifth star is for how honest the staff are. My small complaints are that there aren't electrical outlets near the bed and they only offer one water bottle. Neither is a big deal. Highly recommend stopping by when you visit san luis potosi. Buffet

The staff were very friendly, and the parking felt safe for both our vehicles and trailer. The rest of the stay was rough. We arrived around 7pm to find our Master suite wasn't ready, even though it hadn't been rented during the previous week. The pool was already closed, at 4:30pm, and that wasn't mentioned in the information we received. By the time our room was ready, the restaurant had run out of food and closed, so we had to go off site to find something to eat. The master bed was uncomfortable, and my wife and I were both in pain the next day. Turning on the air in the Master bedroom sent dirt onto the bed, and the air conditioner never cooled the room. The water from the lines had a red tint. Although the room was for six people, there weren't enough towels. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and it took all evening before it started cooling.

It's an older hotel with plenty of character, and the people running it are friendly. Getting here from the highway is convenient, and there are a few places to eat and drink nearby. The room was dated, but everything worked, and I'd stay again. They don't accept animals. I wouldn't count on them allowing a service animal either. You're not in the USA anymore, so don't expect the same protections for animal companions. Parking is secured at the back, but the lot is tight and won't suit an RV or a vehicle towing a trailer.

I remember coming here over the years, and it's still one of the most beautiful, colonial-style hotels in San Luis.

The service was good, and the price is okay for the location. It's close to centro and has free parking. The pool looks nice, but the water was cold. Our room was fine, though the beds weren't comfortable. I also didn't like the restaurant, and it was pricey.
