We were happy with this place under the previous owners, so we booked a room for a whole month. We later had to cancel, giving them plenty of notice before the deadline, but months have passed and our deposit still hasn't been returned. They asked me to email, so I did, then wrote to another address they gave me. I also called, went there in person, and emailed the "accounting office". Still nothing. I'm so disappointed in the new owners and how poorly they've handled this. We want our money back!

The pictures don't match what the place is really like. It was dirty, and the staff were going to charge us extra. We had booked six rooms and had to cancel one. We were supposed to get that money back the next day, but it never came. They kept saying the refund would go back to our card, and that was a lie. It was a really bad experience. The town is incredible, so don't ruin your vacation by staying here.

My room was noisy, didn't feel very secure, and smelled like a public toilet. It was right beside both the public bathroom and the hotel laundry room, which the room description hadn't made clear. The sheets were damaged or dirty when I arrived. The manager, Rafael, was rude and dodgy about handling the situation, and even tried to keep my refundable deposit. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The place doesn't match its advertised description, and management came across as artfully disingenuous.

The rooms are small and the shower pressure isn't great, but that's not what makes this place special. It's the charm, the perfect location, and the lovely people. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast was free and quite lovely, and the food we ordered was great too. Highly recommend.
