Breakfast was a real highlight, with delicious omelettes, good coffee, and fresh fruit plates. The hotel was also super clean and well maintained. Over 90% of the fellow travelers we met, both at the hotel and around the city, were from Vancouver, Victoria, or Seattle, which made things feel friendly and familiar. We were there for one day during the city's 200th-anniversary celebration, and watched the fireworks from the rooftop. The view was stunning and unobstructed, a "money can’t buy" moment I'll never forget. Between the hospitality and the location for the bicentennial, this was the highlight of our trip. It felt like a gateway to an authentic experience, beyond just a "3-star hotel".

The price feels just right for such a stunning place to stay, and it's close to everything. The rooftop view is unbelievable, with lots of room to sit with a drink or play cards, though it can get windy. The service was so friendly and made us feel welcome. And the free breakfast had so many delicious options.

The room was pretty and cleaned every day, and breakfast was nice and well stocked with fresh juice, pastries, yogurt, and eggs. The location is great, and the terrace is awesome too. It was a bit noisy from inside the house, though, and we had trouble getting a hot shower. We had to ask the tenant to fix it.

I booked after reading the reviews for a late July 2023 stay, and it turned out to be a good decision. It was a great experience and a nice break from chain hotels. We spent hours on the roof enjoying the views, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic too. As anywhere in Mexico, be ready for noise from parties and events, church bells included. Highly recommended.

The staff feel like family, and the host is incredible. Don't skip breakfast with coffee in the morning. I'd definitely come back. When you arrive, you're warmly welcomed into a corridor lined with colorful pots and greenery. Upstairs, the rooftop has one of the city's most amazing viewpoints, with an incredible landscape view. It's hands down better than fancy hotel rooftop bars, so don't waste time and money there. The rooms are spotless and warm even on winter nights, the shower works smoothly, and they provide two bottles of water.
